The IB World Student Conference is being hosted in the beautiful college town of Corvallis Oregon, on the campus of Oregon State University. Corvallis is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Oregon’s beautiful and historic agriculture country. Just one hour to the west visit the Pacific Ocean with Oregon’s pristine coastline. To the east visit mountains and forests that feature world class fishing and hiking. The area’s natural wonders make it ideal for sightseers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Corvallis is home to Oregon State University and is a cardinal college community. Its classic structures, tree-lined streets and Willamette River frontage make for a picturesque setting. Founded in 1858, the 500-acre Oregon State University is the state’s oldest institution of higher education. Activities abound on campus including PAC-10 sporting events, concerts, world-renowned speakers, art exhibits, theater productions and films.

Located only 85 miles south of Portland, and a short distance to Salem, Eugene, the Oregon Coast and the Cascade Mountain Range, the city affords easy access.
